Hi guys! I’m Chris Dunn from Warner Robins, GA. This is my fourth year paddling a stand up paddle board, and I love it! Like most everyone else, I started my paddling adventures in a kayak but after discovering SUPs, there is no going back. Nothing compares to the versatility and ease of taking off on a SUP adventure. Just pack the board in the back of the SUV and take off.

I started my SUP adventures with several different brands and types of boards and have been through about eight boards so far. But I may have finally found the perfect board for me and my adventures, the iRocker Blackfin. I chose the Blackfin Model V since it was recommended as an adventure touring board. I can load up that board with all of my gear and go almost anywhere and the multi-use action mounts have already come in extra handy.

I’m a professional drone pilot, by trade and am always looking for better ways to carry and use my gear on the water. I love bringing my friends along on my adventures and have started a paddle board Facebook group here in Middle Georgia, Paddle Boarding Middle Ga. I have introduced many friends (and converted several kayaker friends) to the joys of a SUP, especially the inflatables. They are so easy to use and are perfect for our types of water adventures – from the many small lakes and rivers, to some incredible black water back waters.

This season, our group is planning to head south to Florida for some beautiful clear water springs adventures. We tested out a couple of trips last year to Kings Landing in Apoka and had a blast. We’re hoping to paddle as many of the springs and rivers in Florida as we are able and the Blackfin Model V is going to be there to continue the adventure. And, we’re not forgetting the rest of Georgia or the other southeastern states. Look for us everywhere there is water.
